Welcome to soulsisterwisdom.

For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to be a perfect person and live in a perfect world.

I was lucky enough to be born and raised in rural New Zealand, a very beautiful part of the world, and grew up being heavily influenced by nature and the sentiment of hippie era in the 60’s and 70’s.  I loved everything about this time – the beauty, colour and energy, the music, the quest to get back to what was natural and true, and the desire for a world where everyone and everything lived in peace, freedom, love and fearlessness.

In 1984 at the age of 22, amazingly I came across the method to attain perfection. Five years after I had started out to travel the world and really learn about life, I was introduced to meditation by a group called  the Brahma Kumaris. With the BKs I learnt how I could, step by step, change my character and create the world I longed so much for. What I learned was logical and made perfect sense to me and all the questions I had ever had about EVERYTHING were answered. I was tired of living the way I had been; I wasn’t happy – peace and happiness completely eluded me. This was a huge turning point in my life.

For 30 years now I have been studying and practising meditation and learning how to integrate spirituality into my life in a way that feels totally comfortable for me and supports me in creating the life and world that I want.

soulsisterwisdom came about, out of the blue really. I had been musing over the idea of doing something BIG, where I could share and help others to create better lives for themselves.  I wanted to do something on an international scale. And then, Synchronicity and Serendipity walked right up to me! One day I came across a course on how to start an online magazine. And voila! soulsisterwisdom was born.

At this point I would like to thank Jen Saunders of Wild Sister Magazine, for her inspiration, generosity and the encouragement she shows all women in becoming all they can be.

soulsisterwisdom  explores the practices and effects of spirituality, positivity and empowerment in women’s lives.

It is a place of solace where you will find peace and calm.  It is a place where you can relax, rest and let go, recharge and relight, find companionship and guidance, be supported and empowered.

If you are a woman who loves to feel inspired and supported to believe in yourself and your dreams. If you believe that women are special and you want to embrace and support that and you want to be part of a community that strengthens that belief.  If you love your intelligence and want to live an authentic life with dignity and self-respect.  If you want to take proper care of yourself, own and express your spirituality, talents and abilities, and want to help other women do this also.  If you desire to love the life you live and be part of a movement which is ushering the world into an age where all human beings are of the highest character and are living their full potential.  If you love, honour and respect our natural world and feel compelled to take care of it.  If deep down in your heart and in your bones you want change, then welcome home………we need you.

soulsisterwisdom  aims to generate sisterhood among women by creating a safe and supportive community. It is a place where women care, share, listen, inspire, guide, educate, encourage, support and applaud each other.  It is for women who are interested in spirituality, self-development, self-love, self-care and self-responsibility, holistic health and wellbeing, sisterhood, empowerment, positive and productive thinking and action, and co-creating a new world.

I am glad you are here, I hope you enjoy.
